So for this GIF I was looking for paintings that I could specifically blend out whatever I wanted to cut out and mess around with. I saw a couple other paintings that would be easy to blend out, but I had no ideas about what to play with in the painting. There were a couple i had ideas for but they were basic like making the baby one look like Einstein or making Bigfoot appear from behind a curtain. When I saw this one however the landscape reminded me of a old Scooby Doo movie where they got stuck in the desert and Shaggy and Scooby got kidnapped by "aliens". So I brought my own version of that into this painting and I think it worked out pretty decently. The ship and beam were just taken from stock footage on Google Images and placed into the GIF separately.
